ITINERARIO DÍA A DÍA
DÍA 1 Ollantaytambo

Today we travel by minivan to Km 82, where you’ll meet your dedicated team: local porters, your cook, and your professional guide. The adventure begins with a steady uphill hike to our first campsite at 3,100 m (10,171 ft).

Along the way, you’ll enjoy incredible scenery and visit important Inca sites such as Ollantaytambo, Huillca Raccay, and Llactapata. We’ll stop for lunch with unforgettable views of Verónica Mountain, one of the most iconic snow-capped peaks in the region.

In the evening, we arrive at Huayllabamba Camp, where you can relax, settle into camp life, and enjoy a nourishing dinner prepared by your cook under the Andean sky.

Meals: Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner
Activities Included: Guided 4-day / 3-night Inca Trail trek

DÍA 2 Warmiwanusca

This is the most demanding day of the trek—and also one of the most rewarding. After breakfast, we begin a steep ascent for approximately 3.5 hours, taking time for breaks, hydration, and spectacular mountain views.

We stop for lunch to recharge, then continue to the highest point of the entire trek: Warmiwanusca (Dead Woman’s Pass) at 4,200 m (13,780 ft). From the top, the panorama over the valley is truly breathtaking—an unforgettable moment of achievement.

After taking in the views, we descend to our campsite in the Pacaymayo Valley at 3,650 m (11,975 ft), where we rest and recover for the night.

Meals: Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

DÍA 3 Pacaymayo Valley

We start the day early after breakfast, ascending through the Pacaymayo Valley to Runkurakay Pass at 3,990 m (13,090 ft). From here, you’ll enjoy views of the snow-covered Vilcabamba range before descending for 2–3 hours to the beautifully placed Inca site of Sayacmarca.

We continue across the third mountain pass, reaching Phuyupatamarca (3,850 m / 12,631 ft)—the legendary “City Above the Clouds.” This is one of the most stunning archaeological sites on the trail, with sweeping mountain views. We enjoy a well-earned lunch here in an unforgettable setting.

In the afternoon, we begin a 3-hour descent down original Inca stone steps to our final campsite near Wiñay Wayna, one of the trail’s most impressive ruins and the perfect place to spend our last night before Machu Picchu.

DÍA 4 Machu Picchu

This is the most beautiful and exciting day—the grand finale of your journey to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

We wake up before dawn and enjoy breakfast at 4:00 am. Then we say “see you later” to our porters—because in Quechua, there is no true goodbye, only “tupananchiskama” (until we meet again).

When the final checkpoint opens at 5:30 am, we begin the last 2-hour hike to Inti Punku (the Sun Gate). If the weather is clear, you’ll witness one of the most unforgettable sights in Peru: your first panoramic view of Machu Picchu from the original Inca entrance point.

After soaking in the moment, we descend for about 1 more hour to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour, discovering its history, temples, terraces, and sacred spaces. Then we take the bus down to Aguas Calientes (about 30 minutes) for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic train ride to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transport back to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
