Your adventure begins with an early 5:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, where we’ll embark on a scenic 3-hour drive in private transport to Soraypampa (3,900 meters). Here, you’ll be greeted with a delicious breakfast prepared by our skilled local cook, all while taking in the breathtaking views of the towering Humantay and Salkantay glaciers.
After breakfast, we’ll set off on our 2-hour hike, gaining approximately 300 meters in altitude as we make our way to the spectacular Humantay Lagoon. Along the way, the scenery becomes even more mesmerizing, culminating at the vibrant turquoise waters of the lagoon—an unforgettable sight set against the majestic snow-capped peaks.
Once we reach the lagoon, you’ll have about 1.5 hours to relax, enjoy the view, take stunning photos, and savor a snack. This is the perfect time to absorb the serenity and natural beauty of this incredible place.
After soaking in the views, we’ll begin our 1-hour hike back to Soraypampa, where a delicious lunch awaits, with panoramic views of the snow-covered peaks.
In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Cusco, with a scenic 3-hour drive back to your hotel, bringing your unforgettable day trip to a close.
